Position Description

As an Inside Sales Product Specialist, you will work in a team environment answering inquiries from customers through phone and email to identify an appropriate solution. Your product expertise will also be used to support our inside and outside sales team. The position requires an electrical mind set and the ability to decipher technical data as it relates to AC Motors with a focus on our Permanent Magnet motor technology and how they work with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). The successful candidate will collaborate and liaison with our sales engineers in Italy to ensure timely response to technical inquiries and proposals to meet customer expectations.

Specific Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responding to inside sales, outside sales, and customer requests
  • RFQ provision with a focus on PM Motors and VFD’s
  • Follow up and close orders.
  • Order entry and follow up to ensure on time delivery.
  • Inbound and outbound customer contact using email, phone, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Document key activities including quotations using Salesforce.
  • Technical review of customer specifications and requests
  • Trade fairs and industry events as assigned.
  • Any other requirements associated with Inside Sales function or company campaigns.



  • Technologist diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years of Inside Sales experience with applicable products
  • Strong technical knowledge of Async Motors, PM Motors & Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of French, Italian or Spanish would be an asset.
  • Professional consultative technical sales mind set.



  • Based out of our Mississauga, Ontario location.
  • Customers are located throughout Canada, USA and Mexico
