    SELECTING THE PROPER GEARBOX.
* THE NECESSARY DATA FOR SELECTING THE PROPER WORMGEARBOX IS AS FOLLOWS:

A.) INPUT RPM OR MOTOR SPEED(n1) AND OUTPUT RPM (n2) NEEDED.
[ Thus, the RATIO can be determined by using the following formula -> i = n1/n2 ]
** The ratio on a gearbox can be physically determined ven by the number of teeth of the wormwheel divided by the number of starts on the worm.

B.) INPUT HP USED (KW or HP)
[ Thus, the ACTUAL SERVICE FACTOR can be determined by using the following formula ]

KW1 or (HP1)/KW or (HP)
*Where KW1 or ( HP1 ) is max. input power allowed in catalog

  *Where KW or ( HP ) is actual input power installed

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THE LOWEST SERVICE FACTOR CAN NOT BE LESS THAN 1.0 sf AND THE HIGHEST ACCEPTED IS 3.0 sf

C.) ACTUAL OUTPUT TORQUE (M )
Must be less than the product of the following formula:
M < (M2/Actual SF) * Where M2 is the Max. rated torque stated in catalog Actual SF
  * Where can be obtained from previous formula
